Nick is an award winning filmmaker and transracial Korean adoptee. He co-produced and edited the documentary, Circle of Poison, which premiered at the DOC NYC film festival in 2015 and aired on Al Jazeera in 2016. Nick and his work have been featured in the Hollywood Reporter, Indiewire, Alternet, The New York Times and Al Jazeera. The Hollywood reporter called Circle of Poison “an eye opening and ire-raising doc” and a “Straightforward indictment of longstanding ecological injustice.” Nick is also working as the cinematographer for “The Argus Project,” an interactive documentary film about police brutality and police accountability, which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival’s Storyscapes in the spring of 2016. Currently he is producing a New York Times 360 video series about simulating human exploration on Mars. Born in South Korea, grew up outside of Boston, and lives in Brooklyn.
